Well it certainly isn’t as good as the iconic view you get of Rhodes from the Drostdy Arch – but this is my academic home from home when I am in Sweden. It’s the entrance I take to Högskolan Väst in Trollhättan. I’ve been connected here since 2004: mostly with Per Assmo. We’ve exchanged over 70 students between Rhodes and HV, but these days I am simply a Professor working part-time (at 10%) on the International Programme in Politics and Economics (IPPE) – which I helped establish way back in 2006. In 2008 the University built a new campus – putting almost all of us under one roof – and that’s what is pictured here.
